The author and the first book on folklore in Kosovo: circumstances under which the author created and the obstructed journey of the book
By analyzing the historical and political circumstances of the life and work of Zekeria Rexha (1910-1972), this paper will shed light on his intellectual formation to understand in more detail his perspectives on folklore and folkloristics as expressed in his book, which is a pioneering one in this field in Kosovo. Although I dealt with this author and his work a few years ago, I find myself revisiting him again, as I researched and found new sources on his life activity.
