This study addresses the impact of supplementary teaching on the academic achievements of students in primary schools in the municipality of Prishtina. The main goal is to assess whether and how supplementary teaching helps to improve academic results and overcome difficulties during the learning process. It is important to identify cases that need supplementary teaching, then analyze and examine the possibilities that, through supplementary teaching, from the primary level, the paths of knowledge can be opened. The methodology includes a combination of literature analysis with data collection through questionnaires and focus groups with teachers and fifth grade students. Quantitative data were analyzed using statistical methods using the SPSS program, while qualitative data were treated with the inductive method. The sample consists of 165 teachers and 330 students, representing 10% of the primary education population in the municipality of Prishtina. The results show that supplementary teaching has a positive and significant impact on improving students’ academic achievement, contributing to strengthening their selfconfidence and motivation to learn. This study highlights the importance of organizing supplementary teaching in a flexible manner and adapted to the individual needs of students in order to achieve better academic results and sustainable development in primary education.
